This is a nice place to get a great meal. The prices are reasonable, and the wait staff are very cordial and friendly. For a quick healthy lunch, it's satisfied me.

Closes at 2:30ish is posted on the door. Right away I knew we would find good food and culture within this tucked away treasure. :) Loved this place. I’ve had the shrimp and grits, salads, burgers, chicken, and sides. I’d go back here again and again. Great daily specials and good prices. Family, date and event friendly place. Great southern specialties and traditional food. Please go! You won’t be disappointed!!!!

Always have the best service at this location! The staff is super friendly and they are always very efficient, even when they seem to be swamped. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great local breakfast place. Price is awesome too!

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Warm family atmosphere, service with a smile. We eat here nearly every weekend morning for breakfast and they are consistently excellent. Food is delicious, great options for morning and midday.

I normally love this place but I've been very disappointed recently. In my last two visits, I've seen 1) an employee wearing a Confederate flag shirt, and 2) no attempt at social distancing/virus mitigation/face coverings. The owner himself was working and no employee working had any kind of mask covering their face. There was one employee with a mask on her chin, and she openly sneezed without covering her mouth. They'll get 2 stars based off of food quality alone, but they should get 0 stars for attempts to keep customers and employees safe.

First time here. Picked up breakfast. Great food. Scrambled eggs with cheese were awesome. Lots of menu choices. All looked good. The counter lady needed to use her mask properly.....hanging below her mouth was pointless.

Great variety of food with enjoyable staff

Stephanie was our server and she was very friendly. I was shocked at how low the prices are, but the portions are more than enough to fill you up. We tried a little bit of everything& enjoyed it all, but my faves were the pancake (delicious) and the fish. We'll definitely be back!!

The pimento cheese burger that the head chef Gil makes is the best Burger in town

The food and service was excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly and the owner even stopped by to talk and make sure everything was to our liking.

Very pleased with this small restaurant that serves brunch. A good place for high quality southern style breakfast. Fresh coffee and comfortable seating. Friendly average service with very tasty menu options everyone will enjoy. Very comfortable clean environment with clean restrooms.

Our server this morning was Lisa and she was so warm and welcoming. Our food came out super fast for a Saturday morning- chicken and waffles and a full order of biscuits and sausage gravy. What stood out right away was the chicken! A lovely light batter on 2 juicy and crispy tenders. Everything was so tasty. We don't come often, but when we do we always have tasty food and great service at a good price. In the past the coffee wasn't great, but that is the only complaint.

Staff very friendly...I had the most horrendous fried catfish...very greasy and cole slaw was nothing to brag on...I will opt for another place to eat next time.

The onion rings are hand made and amazing, the broccoli casserole was yummy and the chicken fried steak was tasty. Small place with great food.

The closest I've ever come to the feeling of a classic diner. Food's tasty, reasonably priced, and I've never had an issue with the service.They also have the best french toast. Just perfect. If words are needed to describe the flawlessness of this dish, then they should have sent a poet.

The food was just lousy. The cornbeef hash was poor quality, hash browns were barely cooked, everything tasted cheap. The service was decent but overall I will not go back.

When your server recommends the Chicken Bog, take her word for it when she says you'll love it! Mom had the catfish nuggets. They looked freshly breaded and she raved about how delicious they were! Portions are enough for a big eaters or leftovers!!

Can’t speak to the quality of the food because I knew as soon as I walked in to pick up my carry out order I wouldn’t be eating the food. Not a single staff member, even the cooks were wearing masks. No hand sanitizer was available. No tables were marked off to encourage social distancing. I paid 20 dollars for a meal I won’t get to eat because clearly no staff member takes public safety and health seriously.Edit: the owner has responded to my review and has asked that I not raise any of my concerns on the internet, has informed me that they do care about health and safety while not backing up that claim with any information about how they are keeping clients and staff safe, and did not answer the actual concern in my original review. I would like to reiterate my 1 star review.

The food is GREAT! Prepared by a wonderful staff of chefs, and the waitress staff was incredibly friendly..VERY PLEASANT DINING EXPERIENCE!

Went on 10-10-19 for lunch (11:30ish) and I hate to say it but it was terrible. We go to Brunches every other week, sometimes on a weekly basis so we were surprised at how bad it was. Even asked if they had a new cook, waitress said no. But my mashed potatoes and gravy were so runny they took up the whole plate. The gravy had lumps and chunks in it? Is that really brown gravy? It’s like they are taking it from the pot roast or something. I’ve noticed the last time the gravy had chunks of meat in it. ???? My mom’s spaghetti was dry with hardly any sauce in it. They said they ran out. ???? Just out right bad. It’s gonna to be awhile before we go back. Extremely disappointed because I love this place. 😥

Good hometown breakfast diner

Very disappointing. I ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken pieces were two chunks of crust that tasted like grease. It is not wheelchair friendly due to no designated handicap parking and the door is on a slope making it very difficult to maneuver the wheelchair and the door without the wheelchair rolling backwards on entry or almost tipping on exit. We had a very hard time pushing the wheelchair through the gravel and had to start and stop several times to avoid turning over when the wheels got stuck. I will never again visit this establishment nor will I recommend it to anyone.
